NBA Analysis
Data-driven win probability analysis for every NBA game. See which factors impact outcomes and understand the reasoning behind the numbers.
The NBA model scores nine factors for every game: Elo rating, each team's home and road record this season, points scored and allowed per game, turnover differential, recent form, head-to-head history, rest (including back-to-backs), and injuries weighted by position. There is no weather factor because every game is indoors. Every game is re-scored each morning, then every 15 minutes in the three hours before tip-off as injury reports change. The methodology page explains the full method.
